The devastation of the tragic missile strike on Beit Shemesh (ICEJ photos)

As of March 3, 2026, the US-Israeli campaign against Iran’s regime—now in its fourth day—intensifies. Iranian missiles have hit Israeli cities, including a devastating strike in Beit Shemesh that killed nine (destroying a synagogue and shelter, claiming entire families). Missiles also targeted Jerusalem, landing near the Temple Mount, a highway, and government offices—marks of a desperate regime after the deaths of Ayatollah Khamenei and key leaders.

The conflict, which started Saturday, may continue at least until March 12 (or longer). A decisive victory could reshape the Middle East, boosting Israel’s acceptance among Arab neighbours.

Christians are called to stand with Israel urgently through the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ) in three ways:

  1. Urgent Aid — Donate to the Israel in Crisis fund for displaced families, children’s needs in shelters, Holocaust survivors, trauma care, medical/first-responder gear, new shelters, support for bereaved/injured, job grants, and aid to the elderly/immigrants.
  2. Prayer — Pray for a swift Israeli victory, no regime-preserving truce, freedom for Iranians, a stable transition, protection from attacks, troop safety, and defections. Join ICEJ’s daily Global Prayer Gathering at 4:30 PM Israel time.
  3. Solidarity — Speak up for Israel in churches, media, governments, and communities; contact leaders; join or organise rallies (including for a free Iran); connect with local ICEJ branches.

Echoing Esther 4:14 amid Purim, this is a pivotal hour: act now, for “who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
