Under the leadership of David Elms and the UK Board, the team has developed in recent years with regional leaders being established in many areas of the country to help with conferences, teaching, our Holocaust Exhibitions, in media and on social platforms. All of this is undergirded by a powerful prayer ministry.

David & Gwyneth Elms

Dr. David Elms

David has been involved with Jewish Roots ministry since his conversion as a theological student in 1966. He has been a Pastor in Liverpool for over 50 years, where he was also on the City leadership Team for Evangelical churches. He is a Pastor to Pastors and an international spokesperson for ICEJ. David has been on the UK Board since its inauguration in 2006 and has led UK branch into a leading Christian Zionist organisation in the UK. David has been married to Gwyneth for over 50 years and they have recently welcomed their first great-grandchild.

Joanne Lokuta
ICEJ UK Administrator & ICEJ UK (Charity) Trustee

Joanne joined the ICEJ team in 2013 and has responsibility for the day to day running of the UK Office and Charity.  Joanne and her husband Tanel enjoy leading the ICEJ UK tour to the Feast of Tabernacles each year.  They live in Greater Manchester with their two sons and serve on the leadership team in their local church.

 

Len Grates

Len has been a key member of the ICEJ UK team since 2009.  He lives near Oxford and is married with two children and 5 grandchildren.  Len oversees our network of regional leaders and also liaises with other Christian and Jewish organisations.

Mark Starbuck

Mark has been an Assemblies of God minister since 1976, and also a well known and established worship leader in South Africa, and toured with the StarSong SA ministry for a number of years. He began serving on the UK ICEJ Board in 2007 and a year later became the Feast Chaplain, a role that he fulfilled until 2020. He has also been involved in the leadership of “The Israel Forum”, an AoG Missions initiative which has engaged many local church ministers on the importance and significance of Israel. He is married to his wife Ann, and they lead the Millbrook Christian Centre in Southampton.

Mike Kerry

Mike is a former police superintendent and has been part of the Family Church at Billinge for more than 40 years. After he retired from Merseyside Police in 2001 he led the church for several years before stepping aside in 2013. Mike has been involved with ICEJ UK since 2007 and was instrumental in the establishment of the ICEJ UK (Charity) in 2020. He and his wife Marion have taken several groups to the Feast of Tabernacles and lead regular biblical tours of Israel. Mike and Marion have been married for 52 years and have three children, 8 grandchildren and 2 foster grandchildren.

 

Jonathan Croft
ICEJ UK Director & ICEJ UK (Charity) Trustee

Jonathan has been in Christian Ministry for over 30 years. Born in Bebington, Wirral. He joined the team of Kingdom Faith in Sussex in 1989, where he met his wife Helena; now with a MBE. They have two grown up Children. Jonathan first connection with ICEJ was back in 1990 on his first trip to Israel and he has recently joined the UK board.

Wendy Hogarth

ICEJ UK Company Secretary & ICEJ UK (Charity) Trustee

Wendy served on the ICEJ staff in Jerusalem for five years from 1982. She experienced its exciting pioneer years whilst enjoying living in the Old City and worshipping at Christ Church Jerusalem. In 1997 she helped the ICEJ establish a UK office, dealing with general admin, correspondence with supporters, organising speaking tours and conferences until stepping down in 2013 whilst remaining on the UK board. She and her husband Mike have two sons and are members of St Andrews Chorleywood in Hertfordshire.

Brian Silvester
ICEJ UK Director

Brian has been involved with the ICEJ Ministry since 1987 when he served as a Representative for Northern Ireland. Since 2003 Brian helped in pioneering the ministry of ICEJ in the Republic of Ireland resulting in the launch of the Irish Branch in February 2024. Brian now serves as a member of the ICEJ UK Board and as Regional Director for Northern Ireland. He has served on the Holocaust Memorial Day Advisory Panel and currently is a member of the Committee for the Northern Ireland Council of Christians and Jews. Brian is married to Ann and has one son, Jonathan.

Elizabeth

Elizabeth Graham
ICEJ UK – Northern Ireland Administrator

Elizabeth Graham joined the ICEJ Irish Branch in 2015 as the Branch Administrator. A graduate from two Bible Schools and former Assistant Pastor, Elizabeth fulfilled the numerous administrative duties with the Irish Branch for almost nine years. She represented the Ministry widely at many events including Holocaust Memorial Days, Israel’s Independence Days and spoke on behalf of the Ministry in churches, also at various events which included the Belfast Synagogue.

In February 2024, following the re-organisation of the Irish Branch, Elizabeth became the Administrator for Northern Ireland as ICEJ NI is now affiliated with the UK Branch.
