The incredible work of ‘Operation Lifeshield’ providing strategical
defence for Israelis under fire, with Executive Director Shmuel Bowman

Rabbi Shmuel Bowman has helped Israeli causes since 1994 and in 2006 co-founded Operation Lifeshield which provides bomb shelters and other life saving equipment and support to Israelis in need.  He is regarded as an expert in the field of passive defence solutions. 

Shmuel is an observant Orthodox Jew and a Sofer STaM (Ordained Torah Scribe) and has a weekly podcast “In the Beginning”. He has worked professionally in leadership positions at notable Jewish organisations in Israel, and works closely with Jewish and Christian leaders, including a long-time partnership with ICEJ.
