Prayer delegation tour of Israel with Rick and Patricia Ridings, Succat Hallel Jerusalem in October 2025

A group of 20 intercessors from USA, UK and Canada gathered to support the rebuilding happening in Israel at this time.

So we began in the Gaza Envelope, where we found the local communities celebrating the miracles of God on October 7th, while at the same time recognising the impossibility of once again trusting those in Gaza, having witnessed the citizens following the terrorists in and attacking in the same way. Trauma was evident amidst them despite their resilience.

From there, we travelled to Galilee, stopping en route to visit Majdal Shams, the site of the Hezbollah rocket attack on the Druze community, where 12 children were killed playing soccer. This formerly closed-off religious group were so welcoming as we brought compassion and gifts to comfort them.

The very top of Mt Hermon was our next assignment, where we spiritually affirmed the taking back of the full Golan Heights by Israel, by driving a stake in the ground and decreeing the area belonged to Yeshua.

It was particularly inspirational to take part in Joshua Aaron’s worship concert in the excavated ruins of Magdala synagogue, where Yeshua would most certainly have stood; the following day, we met with Sgt Major Chaim Malespin at the Jordan River and prayed with him before his next mission in Lebanon.

When it comes to building, the projects in both Samaria and Judea were big assignments for us to connect with. We visited HaYovel in Samaria, a wonderful project started by the Wallers from the United States where this very large family steward vineyards in the biblical heartland and teaches extensively about the Gentiles standing alongside the Jewish people in the restoration of Israel.

And in Judea, we went to a project just down from the town of Ma’ale Adumim, where another Gentile family from the US are building a family entertainment centre alongside a wedding event business, with the worship and prayer community of SOLU on the other side. Both these projects connect to the theme of weddings (since vineyards are always associated with the wine for weddings), and there was such a sense of the soon coming King and the wedding supper of the Lamb in the atmosphere.

In every situation we heard about the opposition and the challenges, some from enemies of all Jewish people, some from orthodox communities against Messianics, some financial and some from the trauma within; yet there was always an openness to receive encouragement and hope and to know that people from across the world are standing with and praying for God’s will to be done among His people.
