ICEJ sponsors largest Aliyah flight of British Jews in 15 years

A historic journey unfolded on August 6, 2025, as 50 British Jews boarded a special group flight to Israel — the largest Aliyah flight from the UK in 15 years, sponsored by the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem. Families spanning three generations — from infants in prams to grandparents — took part, embracing a life-changing move to their ancestral homeland. Among them, 44 departed from London, while the remaining six, due to last-minute changes, will join a later flight.

The scene at the departure airport was equal parts celebratory and poignant: children waving flags, parents juggling luggage and paperwork, and many glimpsing a future rooted in a different country. The immigrants were greeted in Israel with warmth and practical support from ICEJ — including gift cards for groceries or household needs — symbolising solidarity from Christian supporters worldwide at a moment of rising antisemitism across Europe. In leaving their lives in Britain behind — careers, comfort, familiar communities — they began not only a relocation but what many see as a purposeful return to a homeland with both spiritual and practical promise.
