The ICEJ’s ongoing efforts to repair and restore homes for Holocaust survivors living in difficult conditions are continuing across Israel.

Many elderly survivors, often living alone and on limited incomes, struggle with unsafe or deteriorating housing, including broken plumbing, damaged walls, poor electrical systems, and inaccessible bathrooms.

ICEJ volunteers and contractors renovated these homes by carrying out essential repairs, improving safety and comfort, and adapting living spaces to better meet the physical needs of the residents.

The project is not only a practical humanitarian aid but also an act of dignity and compassion toward survivors who endured immense suffering and now require support to live securely and comfortably in their later years.
