Dear Friends,

You will all have heard that Sir Keir Starmer announced on Tuesday that the UK would recognise a Palestinian State in September. We know that Israel will not bow to his demands, but it puts the UK on the wrong side of God’s purposes for Israel and, indeed the UK.

At our weekly Rosh Chodesh prayer meeting on Wednesday morning, we were reminded of Rees Howells who prayed against the attack from Germany and so the Lufthansa were turned away from the shores of the UK!  The prayers of those saints were instrumental in turning back the tide from Nazi Germany.

And in this vein we believe we are being called to increase our intercession for the UK at this time, and before the UN meet in September. 

DAILY PRAYER THROUGHOUT AUGUST

Join us when you can, as we will pray daily from 8am till 8.30am for the month of August – starting tomorrow, Friday 1st August.  Every day a member of the prayer team will bring a scripture and a prayer point which will then be prayed into.  If you feel to fast then please do as part of our prayer and intercession.
